Gratitude 2

This is a picture that I randomly found online, that was not credited.
So, if you took this picture or photoshopped this picture, please let me know so you will get appropriate credit. ( this is how things work these days).

I am finally recovered from my flu ( let's call it flu, even I am not 100 percent sure what it was) which makes me extremely happy and grateful, so I thought I will write about this.  I try to be grateful every day and give thanks, but somehow, after you have been sick for awhile you learn to appreciate everything more, and see everything is a different light. In better words, you learn how to not take everything for granted.
Here are two quotes that were in my mind.

"We can be thankful to a friend for a few acres or a little money; and yet for the freedom and command of the whole earth, and for the great benefits of our being, our life, health, and reason, we look upon ourselves as under no obligation.” — Marcus Annaeus Seneca

“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.” — Buddha

So, let's be thankful.
