The Global Medical Relief Fund

60 Minutes on CBS showed a very emotional story on Sunday. It was about a woman in Staten Island who changed the lives of more than 100 crippled children, mostly from war zones. She didn't have a lot of money or training in humanitarian relief, but she made a difference in the lives of these children, one child at a time. Her non-profit is called The Global Medical Relief Fund and it's a small organization, that I wouldn't have been aware if not for 60 Minutes.

Here is the link to the 60 Minutes on CBS, where you can read more about this story.

Here is the link to The Global Medical Relief Fund, if you wish to help, they accept donations as little as $1.

I know this blog is mostly about fashion, style & such. But life is so much more than this, and we need to always help the others, whenever we have a chance.

And be grateful for what we have.

"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful.” Buddha
