The Blue Bird

Why do birds sing so early in the morning?
I just want to know the answer to this right now.
Maybe knowing the answer will put me right back to sleep.
Let's see what Google says.
They are trying to impress mates ( but, of course) and proclaim territories.
Some of them can sign 2000 songs a day.
Some of them just one.
Ok, you've proclaimed your territory and you've found a bird wife, now you can relax.
And, listen to this:
"In North America, we hear mostly males singing, because they typically take the lead in defending territories and attracting mates. However, especially in the tropics, some species sing duets involving both the male and female."

Now That is interesting.
"Hear the birds? Sometimes I like to pretend that I'm deaf and I try to imagine what it's like not to be able to hear them. It's not that bad."~Larry David
